Any thoughts about considering an affiliate program? Maybe a small percentage of the monthly subscriptions people refer to you guys.

I think it would help out everyone. Doodlekit owners will have an extra way to earn income and you guys will gain way more customers that will far out weigh the costs of the affiliate program you run.

Maybe even add a tier system where if the people we refer to doodlekit refer people then we get a small percentage of their monthly subscriptions.

One of the greatest examples of this is site build its! Affiliate program. They offer a 25% subscription profit for affiliates and a 5 tier program.

Even if you don't want to get that technical I'm sure something as simple as clickbank could handle everything for you so you won't have to deal with the headache of it.

Just my thoughts. I would love to see an affiliate program on here and I think it would do great.

Acually, we have been working to get this set up for several months now :). The first thing we had to do before we could do that was redo the entire billing system because it based on 'websites' instead of 'people' for the account. We rolled out the new billing system a few months ago. Now a user can have multiple websites under one account. This will also now allow us to track affiliate information for a user.

We are working to get the affiliate stuff release, but it will probably be after our next major re-design.
