I would like to upload a pdf but I see that the file type is not supported. Is there a work around?

That file type is supported. Try making sure that the '.pdf' extension is in all lower case on the file you're trying to upload. Let me know if that solves your problem... I thought we fixed that.

I've made sure the extension is what you have requested, but I'm still getting the message "Image is not a valid format."

I'm positive the files and file formats of the .pdf's I'd like to upload are correct. If I convert them to a .png or .gif or .jpg then I must compromise the grouping of pages that the .pdf file allows. Let me know what you think I should do.

You said you are getting an "Image is not a valid format." error? Ahhh.. I thought your were trying to upload a PDF through the File Uploader in the Addons. It sounds like your are trying to upload a PDF file as an image... this cannot be done. A PDF is not an image. And changing the extension will not change that. Valid web images are jpg, gif, and png images. A PDF can be viewed if you upload it via the file uploader in the Addons, but it will show as a web page.
