 New Release Buzz...

Your hard work has finally paid off. My website has never looked better. I'm proud to point my customers to my site thanks to Doodlekit. I had a blast testing things out and found very few issues. A job well done.
- Jonas Winfield

I have been playing around with the new features and I'm in love... :). Absolutely superb, easy to manipulate, the color combination are endless, the overall feeling is just fantastic. Bravo for your amazing work!
- Rachel Potvin

So far so good, enjoying my site. After messing around with several other website builders I like the Doodlekit framework the best. Very clean :). I won't be going back to WordPress.

Topic: Cannot upload photos

Paul DiMarzio  04/17/2012 06:10AM

I've just gotten started with DoodleKit and have had no issues creating pages, linking to my domain name, etc. But I cannot upload any pictures.

In the upload dialog I click "choose picture", pick a picture and click on it. At this point the progress indicator just spins and spins and never loads the picture. This is a small jpeg I'm trying to load so it should be nearly instantaneous.

I work from a Mac using Safari. I've had no other issues working with the tool so far. Any thoughts?

What is the name of the file? Some times different file names can cause problems.

Good call Ben ... the photo had parens in the name. Removed the parens and the upload went fine. Are there going to be other restrictions on characters? Many of our pictures use underscores and dashes, I hope they will upload ok ... will try again later.

Dashes and underscores should be fine.
